Piano & Singing Lessons
Caitlyn is a contemporary singer songwriter with an appreciation for classical piano and music theory. Growing up in Gippsland, she began her studies at 8 years old and believes strongly in the importance of music as a form of empowerment, storytelling, expression and personal growth.
Caitlyn’s high school education was Grade 5 AMEB and Year 12 VCE as a vocalist whilst also participating in soul bands, musicals, choir, VET Technical Production and the Kool Skools recording project.She then completed a Bachelor of Arts at Collarts in Music Performance as a vocalist and songwriter, graduating in 2020.
Proficient in music notation, songwriting, and performance, she enjoys helping individuals of all ages form solid foundations that align with their desired outcomes in technical skill, music theory knowledge, and building confidence in themselves and their creativity.
Caitlyn has been teaching voice and piano with JAM since 2022 and believes that music has a place in everyone’s life. She has enjoyed her role of sparking initial curiosity in young beginners equally as much as supporting students returning to childhood ambitions.
Outside of JAM, Caitlyn writes and performs her own music under the moniker Adsnoggin, helps co-run primary school bands and performs as the lead vocalist of the theatrical rock band, Black Dime Cabaret.
