Meadow Bodkin-Allen is a vibrant and dedicated vocal and piano tutor at JAM Music Studio, originally from New Zealand. With over three years of experience teaching at out-of-school music classes and Kennedy School of Music, Meadow has worked with students of all ages and skill levels, fostering their growth in a nurturing, inspiring environment.
Currently, Meadow is furthering her professional development at the prestigious Patrick School of the Arts in Melbourne, where she is immersed in intensive training in musical theatre, vocal performance, and dance.
Meadow specialises in musical theatre and songwriting, two passions that are reflected in both her teaching and performance work. She has appeared in a variety of musical theatre productions, including lead and featured roles in Mary Poppins, Jersey Boys, Spring Awakening and Mamma Mia! Her stage experience enriches her lessons with practical insight into stagecraft, character development, and audition preparation.
Her talent has been recognised with several prestigious awards. She is the recipient of the Hazel Christie Vocal Award, which honours excellence in vocal performance and musicianship. Meadow also achieved second place in New Zealand’s Rockquest, a highly competitive national youth music competition, where she was additionally honoured with Best Song Overall for an original composition—testament to her creativity and songwriting ability.
Meadow’s goal as a tutor is not just to teach music, but to inspire a lifelong passion and love for music!
