Drum lessons
Tom is currently in his final year of study at the Victorian College of the Arts (University of Melbourne), completing a Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Improvisation. He specialises in drums, percussion, guitar, and bass guitar, and works across a broad range of musical styles.
Having grown up in a musical family, Tom has played multiple instruments from a young age and has performed throughout Australia, gaining experience across a variety of musical settings. He is passionate about supporting each student’s individual musical goals.
He has studied with and received mentorship from respected musicians, including:
- Felix Bloxsom (Sia, Empire of the Sun, Barney McAll)
- Brett Williams (Mumford & Sons, Stevie Wonder, Ms. Lauryn Hill)
- Jordan Murray (The Cat Empire, Paul Kelly, Aretha Franklin)
Alongside teaching, Tom works as a session musician and has recorded in studios across Melbourne.
He aims to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy making music.
